In July, renowned photographer Stephen Wilkes did a photo shoot outside Gramercy Park at the corner of Irving Place and Gramercy Park South for a project titled "Day to Night".

In "Day to Night", Wilkes photographs iconic landmarks/scenes in New York, where he captures the scene from the daylight hours into the night, and then composes all the images for a final image.  For his Gramercy Park photo shoot, he sat in a condor (a lift truck with a bucket) while shooting the Park with the city in the background.

Some of the scenes Wilkes has photographed include the Flatiron Building, Times Square, The Highline, and Central Park.
