GPBA plants the Remembrance Garden at the 13th Precinct
Emergency Service Truck #1 Detectives Brian Glacken, Larry Olivetti, Andy Beshar, and Rob Stosch in front of the 13th Precinct's Remembrance Garden planted by the GPBA.

Following 9/11, the GPBA planted a Remembrance Garden in front of the 13th Precinct. This garden has been maintained and planted throughout the year by the GPBA, including on Easter, Memorial Day, 9/11 and Christmas. The GPBA plaque on the Garden reads "NYPD YOU MAKE US PROUD."

"In the many months following the World Trade Center attacks, the GPBA led a round-the-clock relief effort where we provided meals, shelter, and critical supplies to local first responders working at Ground Zero," said Arlene Harrison, President of the GPBA.

"The close bonds we formed with ESU Truck #1 and the 13th Precinct at that time remain strong to this day," she added.
