Derek Lam sold his 92 Greene Street pad last month, but he wasn't homeless for long
Fashion designer Derek Lam has snapped up a three-bedroom Gramercy Park pad for $4.79 million, public records show.
The property, at 50 Gramercy Park North, has floor to ceiling windows and comes with its very own key to Gramercy Park -- a coveted amenity reserved for the residents of buildings directly surrounding the park.
Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer, the musician behind the scores of hit movies such as "The Lion King" and "Gladiator," has snapped up a two-bedroom apartment at 34 Gramercy Park, the first co-op ever established in Manhattan.
The German-born composer and his wife Suzanne paid $1.68 million for the apartment, which was listed by Jill Krause of Halstead Property, according to public records filed with the city today.
